Anne Thomas, PT, FAAOMPT, OCS, CSCS
Co-owner of Body in Balance PT, Anne's journey to Palmer covers several continents. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, she completed physical therapy school in Scotland, then worked in Perth, Western Austrailia, and has finally settled in Alaska. Anne has pursued post graduate studies and additional certifications to deepen her skill base for the benefits of her clients. While working on her doctorate, she has acquired certifications as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She was also accepted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Outside of work Anne enjoys time with her family and adventures around Alaska.
Gary Miller, PT
Co-owner of Body in Balance PT, Gary earned his physical therapy degree from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Gary specializes in solving problems associated with the foot and lower limb. He also directs the clinics Sportsmetrics™ program- a nationally recognized program from Cincinnati SportsMedicine, designed to reduce the incidence of knee injuries in female athletes. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa and their two malamutes, Kodi and Zack.
